I was born and raised in San Ignacio, Cayo, and have proudly called Belize home for 41 years. As the owner and lead guide of Come Explore Belize, I have spent over 21 years guiding visitors through the natural beauty and rich history of this incredible country, specializing in archaeology, caving, hiking, and birding. My passion for nature—its flora, fauna, and ancient Maya heritage—inspires every tour I lead.
My guiding style is fun, adventurous, and always educational. I especially enjoy showcasing Belize’s remarkable Maya archaeological sites, including Caracol, and sharing meaningful experiences that connect guests with our land and culture. Outside of guiding, I love birding, hiking, and camping, and one of my favorite places to visit is the Mountain Pine Ridge. I even start each day at 4 a.m., waking to the call of a ferruginous pygmy owl before enjoying my morning coffee.
Belize is truly special—a melting pot of warm, friendly people and unforgettable landscapes. To make the most of your tour, I encourage you to ask questions and share your interests so we can create an experience you’ll always remember. I look forward to exploring Belize with you.
